We are excited to offer curbside pick-ups beginning Monday, June 15th! You can request materials two different ways:
– You can order items through our new online catalog following a link for Ilion Free Public Library at Midyork.org. This will only show you items available at the Ilion Library. There is no Midyork delivery between libraries at this time.
– You can call us at 315-894-5028 to request specific items and we will place the hold for you. If you are used to browsing for your items and you are not sure which items you want, let us know what materials you have enjoyed in the past. We will do our best to put together some items that you might like. We can also put together a bundle of children’s books if you don’t have specific titles in mind.
When your items are ready we will call you and arrange a pick-up time. You will sign up for an available time and your items will be waiting outside the door, bagged and labeled with your name, on a table for you to pick up. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing when picking up your materials.
All items can be returned through the book drop. If you feel your item may not be suitable for the bookdrop, please call and we’ll do our best to anwer any questions. Items will go through a 96 hour quarantine period before they will be removed from your account.
We will be open during the following hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10-4
Tuesday, Thursday 1-7
The library is now available for limited computer use and copy/fax services. There will be a limited number of patrons allowed in at one time. Please call to make an appointment.
There are no public restrooms available at this time and patrons are required to wear a mask that fully covers their nose and mouth at all times.
This is all very new to us and we ask for your understanding as we figure out what works and what we may need to do differently. We are excited to be able to get library materials into our patrons’ hands again!
